Extraordinary...

Post by BackinaBX »

So, today was MOT day for The Green Goddess.

Took her down to the MOT garage at 8AM, she goes straight on the ramp.
45 Min's later, I'm driving past the same garage in my dad's car to go to the shops, and she's back on the forecourt.

Oh dear, thinks I... failed. Nothing comes out of an MOT bay as quickly as a fail.

However, I drop into said garage to hear the bad news and... she passed.
Not even a single advisory...

So here's to another year of BXing. Thanks for all your assistance chaps... and may there be many more BX related problems.

Evidently not... I would have thought that not having any ABS might have been a reason to issue a yellow sheet... they must have missed it.

New and improved TXD Ed? Have you got a new toy?

Oh, and I managed to sell the manky old workhorse yesterday too, having cured various leaks etc including a miraculous rad flush which sorted the symptoms of what I was convinced was a pending/blown headgasket #-o . Pressure is no longer building up and being retained in the rad hence no more overflow and water loss . Advertised locally as being a manky diesel with mot & tax to end Aug '06 and got amazing response, they're still calling today...... pity I didn't have half a dozen for sale
