Stinkwheel: I'll have a mint grey one up for sale in a few weeks time hopefully.
Well dependant on price then i would be interested, id rather have a slight fixer upper to keep initial purchase price down but we shall see :-)

They will be available for a pint and delivery costs.
No mate, the seats in your old red car were mint so they will be going in dads bx directly (he finds them alot more comfortable than the gti seats).
These seats came out of an mot failed estate diesel! They cost me a pint of pheasant plucker, I'm not into making money so thats what they'll cost anyone that wants them. I need to point out, they will scrub up fine but need a bloody good clean!

well considering no one has actually said they would actually have it matey and on our forum someone has then surely that would be closere to the done deal????

i did read it through before posting mate! as the way i saw it was that you and mark (i think that was his name!) were going to go halves and give it a couple of weeks extra for someone to decide yay or nay! (well thats what the plan seems to be on the 16v forum!!!)

if thats wrong sorry but surely having someone who has defo said yes please is better than umming and arring!

Kitch wrote:Right, I've managed to sort something out this end....I'll be buying the car jointly with Carl from the BX 16v forum. He's got somewhere to keep it so its all go.
If all goes well we'll have it tomorrow night. Once we've got it secure in our possesion, we'll access the whole car and decide whether its worth saving or not. We'll do our best but you can't save them all!

If we do, it'll be for sale in the near future as a running car. If not, all spares including the interior will be available.

Cheers

Anyway, car is now safely back at Carl's. Drove pretty well, body is fairly good. Some rust around door hinges.
If we don't get any other nasty shocks I reckon it should be savable.

Thats a very nice looking car. Too good to scrap, even if I'd like the bumpers........ :(

Best of luck with it, nice number plate too.
