Anyone got the balls??

Post by Kitch »

Right the Mk1 16TRS Auto I purchased a week or so ago was only ever intended as a (very) temporary runabout. It wasn't my intention to get one as I only needed a Fezza or something like that. And now I'm reluctant to get rid of it, but it has to be done.

So its not a for sale thread yet as I'm still using the car, but its just to see if anyone would be interested as otherwise it will go to ebay.

Its not a pretty sight visually, there is alot of suface rust. But mechanically I'm astonished at how well it moves! There is nothing mechanically wrong with this car. It drives very well.

I want to make a little bit more than what I bought it for, which was the advertised price in the spotted section of this forum, because I have fitted a new starter to it and spent some time cleaning it up.

Pics will appear soon and it might interest some to know that the first owner was a certain Lord Montague who bought it for his dear old mum.

1, 2, 3....Awwwwwwwwww

I suggest you drive it down to Beaulieu, and ask him if he would like to buy it back!

He could add it to his collection then.

The only Citroen he has is a ZX Rallye Raid.

That idea had crossed my mind more than once! I'm pretty sure I know what sort of reponse I'll get.

I'd ideally like this car to go on the an enthusiast as it thoroughly deserves an overhaul bodywise. It still runs so well and just seems to want to keep moving.

Hence why I'm informing everyone before I actually do advertise it, which will either be next week or when the 16v returns to the roads, which should be a matter of weeks now.
