I think Ian said that a dealer would be offloading spares at the Stratford rally on 16-17 Sept. Is this what you're referring to, Tim?

Sod it its the same day as the SD1 spares day in northampton, wil go there in the morning and the CCC in the afternoon so will probably go in the Xantia as its the only one that roadworthy

Definatly going but wont be theer until afte lunch, are we avinga bit of a get together? I wont be in a BX though, as 2 of mine are sold and the 16v wont be on the road.

SD1 it is then!

im making a weekend of it and staying all the way through. Does involve some of that camping stuff though!

Its actually the CCC Midland Section Rally.

Word has it that a couple of dealers are looking to offload a large quantity of spares.

I cant guarentee they'll be there so all i can say is that it'll be a nice weekend with plenty of nice cars.

Last year the midland section rally had stacks of geniune mudflaps, headlamp protectors, sunroof deflectors, mats etc etc. I even bought a brand new tailblazer. There were things like brand new height correctors for a fiver, drop links for a quid.

Dear Santa,

this year at the Midland CCC rally i would like;
rear contoured mudflaps for the BX16v (and front if you have them ;)
front and rear height correctors
two front struts
some G3 cutting compund
a tail blazer
two new fog lights
a complete set of engine mounts
a new Xantia alternator
a new Xantia/ZX diesel starter motor
a new Pug 309 DTurbo radiator
and a brand new, still on the pallet Xantia HDi unit with wiring loom, fuel pump and all the related anciliaries



and i would like beer money from £100 notes please :D

cant wait to see you in stratford

If you're going for the full weekend then i'll camp over too. I get back from France in the wee hours of saturday morning so i'll go to bed and then leave for straford at midday ish.

current plan is to go down on the Friday and visit some friend on the journey down. I have accrued many many boxes of parts over the years and i'm looking to have a cull!
