My mum...Loves the TGD!!!!

Post by Adam »

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

I think for the first time in my life, i've done something to make mumsy happy!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D

She has been very tolerant of LHM fluid on the drive and general mess around. She's letting me break the TZD on the drive and keep Caraculus there too.

She has a BX club sticker in the TGD she bought from me for very cheap, I made a loss (I mean the TGD, not the sticker!!!)

She is extremely happy with it and is going to come and join us as soon as she gets online!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd like 3 cheers for mumsy...helping keep the BX dream alive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I take over the garage for a good 6 months of the year (not by choice), and barely a complaint is made! Can you guess where my car is right now :(

Your mum, (Thanks for the coffee and flapjack, by the way,) has a very nice example of a TGD there. Fitting company for the newly acquired Graculus, with which I wish you great success.

Cheers Tom, I have as yet not had time to do anything, other than change the air filter. Many thanks for all your help,. I'm very happy with Garaculus and will make it a very good green bird again!!! Pictures to follow.

Hi Adam - on the subject of mums and BXs, I think I did go overboard at my mum's house at one time - 2 BXs in the garage (one diesel scrapper, one "I'll fix it eventually" petrol estate), two diesel drivers on the drive (where else) and my mum's old Pug 106 on the drive too....

She wasn't around to object though, as I was living in her house until it was sold, while she lived in a nursing home about a mile away.
Back on two wheels and pedal power for the moment.

:D Yeah, at the moment there's Graculus, my breaking TZD and her TGD, fortunately she knows there'll be some cheap spares going her way if ever she needs them. Have yet to start work on the green beast but time is set aside this weekend!!!! I keep you posted. :D

DLM, I've actually overflowed my mum's drive in the past. Rover P6 in the garage, GSA on the first section, Saab 99 on the second, left a space for her old Pug 309 on the front and I had to park my borrowed P6 - the only working car I had access to - on the road outside.

I recently met the cousin of the bloke who filled up a barn in Somerset with 4x4s. I don't think they sectioned him, but it may have come close.....
