Its all back in one piece! Runs very well, more like a purr!
Gave it a quick test, it sprang a leak. Shit I thought!!! But it turned out to be the washer bottle....relief!
Tomorrow see's its proper clean and tidy up. Pics to come. Then its MOT time, after that someone will need to show me the readys

I'm not going to give it a full clean today after all. Thought it might be better to wait until its actually for sale and MOT'd, otherwise it'll sit here getting dirty.

IIRC, the engine bottom end came from Luke.
You are right, it did have air-con. Takes more oil to fill.
That's the engine Vanny & I took out of a friend's H reg bx, it had only done about 76k. That bottom is very heathy, and it ran very nicely last winter before the car was scrapped because of accident damage.
It is pleasing that another bx has been saved by the donor.
