A poor man's 'Rendez-vous' I guess. If a BX made a better sound it wouldn't need a soundtrack. Actually, come to think of it a 16v doesn't sound too bad - certainly better than the cr*p music on this video
how fast was he going? Like, 220 kmph plus? What's that? 137, 138 mph. My old warmed up Fiat Uno turbo i.e.would've beat that
I agree. Must try harder

Sorry. I'm 45 and should be above this.
But.
I am ashamed to say, with the Radbourne Racing-tuned Uno I had ('biscuit tin' we used to call it) an indicated 145 mph was possible. But really, you had to be a) young (which I was), b) ignorant (ditto), c) on French roads on a Sunday in the early hours (which I was) and d) racing some f***ing French nut in a Renault 5 turbo who seemed determined to kill you (which, until I lost him on a difficult roundabout, I was)... Today. I wouldn't dare.
PS I hope the R5 turbo survived!
C'est la vie...

Hhmm, low on fuel, side light dash warning light u/s, and unless I'm mistaken, the ABS light on?
Indeed, the engine sounds F****** great without some third rate bullsh*t thrash rubbish playing.
While I enjoy the performance of my valver from time to time (it's usually driven with great care) I dont think I'll be lending this dude my motor!
Cheers

Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!
Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

lol when ever the wife isnt in my car it gets driven hard as it was intended but alas when the wife is in its a bit like driving miss daisy (until some chav tries it on lol! whihc normally results in a raised voice and the grabbing of the door handle!!)
agreed that to drive the uno at siad spped does match the description philip posted loL! a good mate had a uno turbo! it was blisteringly quick but then it would normally stop and a bit woudl fall off! heheh!

It is easy to drive a car flat out on a motorway/highway, when i said "must try harder" i was refering to the lack of bends and technical peice's of road After all thats the sort of enviroment the 16v is at home inJezzie 16v wrote:must try harder is my opinion
