You'd need a car with the wiring loom installed for it already indeed, otherwise as jeremy said, it would be more than a 5 minute job to install!
Thankfully my valver has a reciever in the roof already but no plip hence it will be mine since I've put a silly max bid on it!
Cheers

Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!
Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Er not sure bout that. My TD has central locking but no wiring for the reciever.cavmad wrote:I reckon it`ll fit all BX`s with central locking. I have had a few different models which have had this unit fitted.

It wont fit all bx models, no Mk1s and Mk 2 TG or R or TR models (86-89) didnt have provision for it but the GTi models (inc 16V) and the later TZ models did (1989-1994).
Easiest way to find out is to see if theres received built into the sunroof (or map reading light on estate) surrounds (black dome), and or see if the central locking works from the passenger door on the key. If it works from the passenger door and there no receiver then it wont accept remote locking.
My TZD had a receiver but no plip so if anyone has a spare one let me know, am I right thinking a peugeot one would work also?
