BX GTi 8v (with aircon)

Post by artic-steel »

My grey 8v has lay neglected at my parents for to long, had a look today it needs alot of work, probably parts only car, i can't bring myself to break it so it is free to anyone who collects.

Prefer to see it saved but i'm a realist, i have too much on my plate to do it & no space at home.

It will need tyres as i have taken the alloys off so it looks even worse now, it starts & rises but needs bottom hose.

Rusting away were front bumper joins wings.

Any questions PM me & i will give you my number

Andy, I`d happily have it off you but it would almost certainly end up for spares. If this is too much to bear and if someone else is willing to restore it then so be it.
Keep me in mind though please, thanks.

Couldn't the engine/aircon go into another GTi, Ian?!

HHMM, if it gets broken I could use alot of the trim / back end wiring.
Would rather see it go to a good home but I need the bits!

the air-con would be great too, then I can have a fridge in both the BX's!
Cheers

Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

I'd also be rather interested in the A/C, as the only reason I don't drive a BX as an everyday car is due to the lack of A/C (and pollen filters, but that's an easy mod to make)

... and there's the possibility of fitting it into a rather nice TZD turbo estate when a friend of mine has finished with it...

Ok, assuming this comes to, er, fruition I'll bow out since I already have air-con and your need is greater than mine mate! I was just being greedy! :D

Given that we don't even know if the car's being brioken yet, it's all a bit academic!

plus, I'm being just as cheeky as you are, as hopefully I shall have custody of a TZD Turbo +AC hatchback in the near-future.

I was born cheeky! :D
Prefer to think of it as extreme optimism!
If it does get broken and the air-con is available and you want it David I can collect for you.

Cheers
