only an upgrade if you've fixed all the wiring faults on the BX! Otherwise its just a box box of messy wires :D


i've come close to buying one before, problem was no one would insure me on it! Gonna have to get a lot older first!

Insurance quotes of £1,024 and £856 full comp for me..not too terrible. 23 years old, no NCB, driving 5 years, £250 excess, 10,000 miles p/a, parked on street, Newbury, Berkshire.

Think I'd want a better example than that though!!

That sounds damn expensive!!

My insurance on the GTi is less than 250quid at 23 years of age.

im on 3 times that on the diesel and it lives at my parents in a desirable postcode! That said i has spent 8 of the last 9 months sat on the drive so i should have free insurance!
