Didn't flame his thread down on the 16v forum, but at £1250 he's dreaming. Thats A1 money, not bumpers and heater needing attention money.

Does look nice though, although I'd be worried about the towbar.

You got £1000 for that one of yours mate and that looks every bit as nice. I agree £1250 is a bit optimistic. Should attract a few bids though! Plus a rebuilt engine too!

Nice looking car (and not a million miles from here either) but agree the price is a tad high.

Not a big fan of towbars myself, saved my dads 19RD when it got shunted up the rear by a cortina taxi! Lol

The paints nice on that white one, heater valves not abig job.

according to all that have seen it its in very good condition!
there nothing wrong with having the boot strengthened for the tow bar! some of the tow bars use the boot floor as mounting points!
1250 may be a tad optinistic but should see a grand easy!

I suggest anyone who is considering buying a valver in the current headyness of 4 figures should go look at this one before dismissing it - it is one of th ebetter ones around.
The pictures really don't do this car justice it is very sound mechanically and the points made are tiny when they are done it will be superb.
It is only too expensive if you don't know what you are getting

Cheers

Nothing wrong with trying to recoup your costs :!:
The money has been spent on the right things. Especially the engine rebuild.
Nice car..I may have a bid myself...

Colour really needs to be red for a great example. :D White is more typical of a Cavalier SRi.

I know this car well as i used to live in macclesfield not 5 miles away from malcom (the seller) i lived at broken cross and he lives in tytherington. The car has had a LOT of money spent on it over the years and i even supplied some of the spares for it. My dad has also worked on this car as he did the rear arm bearings. Malcom is a genuine person and not out to make a profit. i see no reason why he shouldent get the asking price as its a lot better than the usual tat that turns up. if your reading this good luck malc! 8)
