BX 1.9txd K Hatch in White 93000

Hi,
I've spotted and had a look around a K plate BX 1.9txd. It is at a garage but the owner only wants £50 scrap as it is not worth him doing anything with it.
It failed it's MOT with front brake disks and drivers CV boot.
The engine starts and sounds good and the suspention rises but it needs a new Acc and front spheres. The cam belt has been done recently along with loads of other things.
There is a bit of rust around the windscreen but to be honest it looks very good.

It is based Lincoln on the A15 in Bracebridge heath next to the total garage.

Worth a look I think.

Cheers Howie, may be some use to someone. Sounds like it`s saveable without too much effort. I think Sleepy0905 lives in or around Lincoln, maybe he could have it for parts?

Well It's been saved for now. The people that I buy my biofuel off were interested and have purchased it. This is their first BX.

Hi Sleepy,
I usually pay around 20p a litre less than the pump price. The company is JAK-products LTD 01522 512220 unit 6 Sleaford Rd IND EST, just behind the TOTAL garage on the A15.

If you decide to go ask him how his BX is going.

I shall be going back for more soon, He had a Y plate C5 there today that had 30L put in but then it would not start and they were pumping the fuel out when i got there apparently the lift pump could not cope with the thicker fuel

Yep the HDi is truly shite in that respect.

PSA say they will only waeeanty and engine if its run on no more than 5% Bio diesel to dino diesel - I just chuck 5L in the HDi every fill up to act as a lube.

The N/A D on the other hand gets anything (including Hydraflush - which smells bad and smokes under wellying conditions)
