Not to mention Chronos?

The Visa has a good record in rallying, but does anyone know much about Citroen's rally heritage? Was there a works team before the days of the BX4TC? I seem to remember a DS won the Monte Carlo once? And I recall a rallying CX...

An intersting subject - especailly as I find rallying far more interesting to watch that F1 for instance.

The DS never won the Monte in 1966. That is just what the historical records attest. The truth was somewhat different

The Minis were going it outright for the third time so the organisers changed the regulations while the rally was under way in order to disqualify the BMC team for using (Correctly homologated) halogen headlight bulbs. Even the French media called it a scandal.

Typical. I seem to remember seeing a French comic strip showing that DS - and the minis. I'll dig it out of collection.
