Today was a sad day. Vera, the Ex-Marty TizzyD was switched off for the last time in readyness for the engine removal.

The last run......

I'm pleased to hear it. Otherwise I could fall into the H Shipman category.

A sign of a previous engine removal, could have been nasty!

In storage for another day

Next job is to fit the TD box into my N/A as the poor N/A revs its arse off it 5th. Then I shall be pulling the TD motor apart to replace the HG and possibly the rings and big end shells. There's nothing wrong with these bits, just doing it for reliability.

Well pleased with my Machine Mart crane too 8)

Stil I got to 4500 miles in the ZX before anything broke - and that was just a 13 year old handbrake cable.
