Nice looking car.
Theres a slight mention of mileage:
"Unsure what the mileage is, it had 36K on the clock when I got it, now reading 60K. Obviously I don't think that's the real mileage! I was told that the speedo was reset/replaced when it had a replacement engine, but there is no paperwork to verify this"

Ok, its not very helpful, but then I've never worried about mileage on cars. It's just a meaningless number.
I've seen and owned really good VERY high mileage cars and bl**dy awful low mileage cars.

Cheers

Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

The mileage issue seems of less concern on diesels than petrol but presumably has a significant bearing on the bodywork and chassis parts of both? :?

Er, yes and no! For sure Diesels are longer lived (if maintained well), but the bodywork seems to be a lottery with BX's!

I'll always look at a car's condition and decide from what I see, the mileage has never bothered me. But then I spend stupid amounts of cash on cars and never make a profit! But I'm not in it for profit, just like playing with cars.... So I'm probably a bad example!

Doesn't sound stupid, after all satisfaction and fun are more worthwhile than profit! Lifes not a rehearsal, what's the point of a bank balance to leave behind?
