Speedo Cables

Post by tim leech »

Replaced my top cable today as I had the dashpod out to replace the oil gauge (still dont bleeding work) and the obligitary blown bulbs!

Was amazed it took less than 5 mins with the pod out and hey presto no more wobbly speedo!,

Lucky bu&&er! Mine took all day, and I mean, ALL F%^&ING DAY to change the top cable on my valver!

Some t!t had replaced it before and zip clipped it everywhere and to everything!
Nearly took the dash out....

I'm investigating using a signal speedo head. No more cable issues...

Cheers

Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Im no citroen mechanic as you all know but im getting more adventurous, it took me less than 5 minutes and even the old cable unscrewed without any problems. Thats one job less to do, only 999 more to go!
