WANTED 2 front seatbelt clips

Post by thanuttiscotsman »

hi folks,
as it says iam after 2 front seatbelt clips i need 1 driver and 1 passenger clips , the bits that are attached to the seats. they must be from a 1990 onward bx. i have recently changed my full interior, basically replaced a slightly ripped 16v interior with a good one but i forgot to change the belt clips over and i gave the old interior to a mate who thought he might use it but he has binned it and the clips are gone and now my front seatbelts are useless.

cheers rossco

Do you have exactley what I want???

Dont think it's postable though!!!!!

Er, dude's before getting too carried away here, You'll be aware that there are three types of buckle and the clips are not interchangable.

May be worth measuring the clip on your belt Rossco??

Cheers

First Great Western trains have what I want! Fitting in a BX could be interesting though....

The width and length of the clip mate. I.E. the shiny bit with the hole in it where it latches.
Theres a thin one, a thicker one and a longer one.

The difference is immediatley evident if you compare them.

The length isn't an issue as such, but the width is!

Cheers

Length and width!

Ha no problem, just use one of Doc's lump hammers and beat the cr8p out of it, works for him. Length and width instantly adjustable.
Cheers.

hi there,
from what i knew there was only 2 types :? . the old ones first ones had the plain flat release button with nothing written on it. i.e 1989 back. thats the ones currently attached to my front seats. and the new ones with push written on the release button were also a slightly different shape. i have already replaced one rear clip from a spare in my ex 1.4 bx which was 1990 like my valver and it fitted in the 16v no prob and also was identical :? . anyhow so all i need to do is measure the width of the clip where it goes in? so i will get them measured and get back to you. :D

cheers rossco

Sorry Nutti,

I've been a right space cadet recently!!!!!! Just measured them and they are about 1mm over the 2cm x 3cm in each direction so it sounds like they are the same. PM me your address and I'll get them sent up to you!!
