Brrrrrrrrrrrr but I'm in. If you want to B&B it they are not within walking distance in case you want to get tanked up...If we can have a show of hands from those who can genuinely commit to a weekend in April/early May then I'll get the ball rolling and see if we can book some adjacent pitches. I'll also look into some B&Bs for the er 'non hardy' amoungst us!!!

On a guess, the nearest B&B will be about 6 miles away maybe further as its a bit out in the sticks so maybe a few of the B&Bers could club together for a taxi..just so you know......I have made enquiries to the campsite in mind so will let you know. This is the website:

Right,
I have found an alternative campsite which has caravans or lodges for rent for those who wanted the B&B option. That way there's no fussing with Taxi and people having to b*gger off etc.
They are open from easter which is April 8th.
As an aside, I found out how to determine the date for Easter:
1) Easter falls on the first Sunday following the first ecclesiastical full moon that occurs on or after the day of the vernal equinox;
2) this particular ecclesiastical full moon is the 14th day of a tabular lunation (new moon); and
3)the vernal equinox is fixed as March 21.
So now you know!!
In theory than, Arctics suggested date is ok, but it may be a tad chilly. There is however a pub just 200yrds away that serves a local Ale + girlie Larger!!! So, the bearded sandal wearing ale drinkers and the girlie lightweight lager lappers are all happy!!!
We have 2 happy campers and 2 non-hardy-types so far.
Think I'll put up a poll thingy....

Right dudes, there`s no party without me! What dates are we looking at please? Sod `er indoors, she probably won`t want to go but I fancy it. You all owe me a pint anyway (I haven`t thought of a reason yet but I will!) so it`ll be a cheap weekend anyhow.
Any good boozers nearby/on site?

Bandit, I`m a common or garden lodge type, I don`t do tents or mixing with the chattering classes, and I shall indeed be drinking lager.
I`d try a pint of Theakstons Old Knacker Sack (or whatever it`s called) but as I`m still the right side of 50, not overtly obese and I don`t do morris dancing I think I`ll stay well clear of it thanks
