PrutsyLJ's black Citroen BX 19 GTi

Post by PrutsyLJ »

Now i'm here i might as well introduce myself and my car :D I'm PrutsyLJ a 19 year old BX freak from The Netherlands. I'm a proud owner of a black Citroen BX 19 GTi with some interesting aftermarket stuff.
Next to the usual stuff like: 2 electric side mirrors, 4 electric windows, fog lights, power steering and so on. Mine also has a Hollandia sunroof and an airconditioner!!! The airco is an original Citroen one. The only differince is that it has 2 buttons in the centertunnel in stead of the panel. This is because the airco has been built in @ the importer. But enough talking time for the pics:

The interior is not original and comes out of a BX Chic a dutch actionmodel....

I forgot the following picture. It displays the 2 buttons for my AC. The On/Off button and the button for the air circulation.

I had a mk1 16TRS with original air con. The buttons were in a similar place to that.

Interesting inlet manifold, that certainly wasnt on any UK market GTi's.

Can anybody shed any light??

It looks more like the 19TZi injection system.

Normally the buttons for the AC are under the 3 turning knobs for the heater. Something like this: Link

I think it has something to do with the environmentalists in Holland  After 89 all the BX models in Holland were fitted with a catalyst converter. So the BX GTi from 89 till the end also had another injection system and 3 HP less as well as 20nm of torque :(

Now that you say it. In The Netherlands the 19TZI break had the same injection system as in my BX. But; the 19TZI hatchback had a singlepoint injectionsystem which gave it 110HP
