I was thinking of buying the proper impact socket for the balljoints, then again that might mean that I might never do another one, I find that once the grinder has removed the staking flangey bits the joint is generally warm enough to come out, last time I did the balljoints and wheelbearings at the same time, that gives a recon hub and hopefully no problems for some time.
