interesting one....

To the previous owner of the BX TZD that my sis has : a thankyou note for selling me an AC spec car for peanuts.

The BX DTR Turbo : a letter asking why he bothered to gaffer-tape up the sunroof when it was nothing more than blocked sunroof drains.

The BX Digit : A note telling him his son is a complete fool (although he probably already knows that)

The BX 17RD : "4 years of storage does not mean the car is in excelent condition. It's Rotten"

The C25D van: A voucher for a basic mechanic's course

405 Executive : A letter explaining what the difference between a "fully reconditioned" engine, and one that's had a cambelt slapped on it (badly) is.

405 GRDT : A nail bomb.
this might be a signature

To the previous owner of the TZD a note explaining that radweld will not fix head gaskets.
To the owner of the mega miles Xantia estate that was absolutely full of mud (ex forestry commission) the question " did you ever walk anywhere?"

To the owner of the Frontera: is there some sort of aid you can apply for to get running water to Mid Cheshire and do you know what a sponge is*?

Last owner of Mondeo: Do you have a driving school for partially sighted chimps which involves driving down narrow alley ways, did you know it`s normally NOT a good idea to clean the body/paintwork with Jif and pan scourers and were you aware of the amazing phenomenen(s:) called `engine oil`?

To previous owner of my old Merc: I love you (in a platonic way).

*Not that I really care as it looks even better caked in mud and I`ve added far more to it since.

To the owner of the Saab: A fine executive pen, because it seems he was that sort of bloke, judging by his business and the car he owned. And he treated it well and left me with a good car, so I figure a nice gift is good.

To the owner of the Capri: Pictures of her as she is today. He seemed to love her just as much as I do so I think he'd like to see that.

And to the owner of the BX (as technically, I probably still own it!): Flowers, and a note apologising profusely for what I did to her car!

Not really Jeremy, I bought the car with known faults and paid peanuts for it, typical BX really. :P

Neither did I. Merc`s worth a fair bit more than I paid for it 4 or 5 years ago, Mundano was stupidly cheap and worth more in scrap and £200 for the Frontender with a long MOT, cracking engine and about 6 weeks tax wasn`t to be sneezed at.

Me neither - Xantia was a bargain when i bought it, done sterling service and depreciated at the expected rate. - Previous owner was Citroen UK Slough.

Berlingo was an ultra bargain - just been to Squires gate to see its twin on the forcourt for over twice what I paid for mine - Previous owner was a medical center.

BX cost me little and is worth about what I paid for it, already give previous owner, beer and stuff.

Metrover another ultra bargain (free) gave previous owner some 12 year old malt whiskey.

However I have had some right dogs and would like to give the previous owner of the AX a shocking dose of the clap with crabs, in appreciation of the elephants scrotum he sold me (eBay).

To the previous owner of the Xantia, some money to spend on a car as he obviously spent NOTHING on it when he owned it. Including a bucket and a sponge.

The SD1 a bottle of champagen as he rescued it from a garage where it had sat for numerous years and returned it to the road.

The 16v, a owners manual as a pair of glasses,he was supposed to be a mechanic but I saw no evidence when I got it!

To the previous owner of the Gti, its not quite as good as u described, so lots of heavy depreciation on his future motors please or at least unreliability (claimed he was a ccc member), but who would take bits off a leather seated & alloy wheeled Gti only to stick it on a bx 16 summat???? probably realised that the list of annoying faults ran both the length of his arms, oh & the hydraulic pipes linking to the front suspension werent connected (lovely smooth ride, well i didnt know what i was buying did i!!).

TZD, where is the flippin paperwork which shows what work has been done & when, this shows a bit of care & thought & may help new owner repeating work that doesnt actually need doing, mind u a £500 re-spray & then Tim bought her for £42, so thats punishment enough, haha....

Thats me finished with....

OK, so none of these are BX related as i havent owned one for about 9 months but.............

Austin Maestro Van........a note reading 'Filler is no substitute for welding'
but to its first owners (electricity board) a big thanks
as these guys really did pump a lot of waxoyl and body
sealer into and under it, which is the only reason its
still with us.

Citroen 2CV............To its one previous owner thank you very much a
big bunch of flowers to her and some nice cuff links
him and a box of sweets for the kids. Its not everyday
you get given a one owner from new full history car.
The whole family cried when i drove away (honestly)

Fiat 126...................Pink hand applied paint is not a rust preventative!!!
A punch in the face would be fairest gift for all the
bodges and other crimes commited upon it.

Renault Laguna.........thank you mr rep man, have a nice hanger to put
your jacket on, we got it at 120k now has 150k. Its
cost little more than tyres fuel and a few minor items
to run this for about 18 months and its taken it all in
its stride.
