Aye, why not!

Just got back this evening. Another 1000 miles on the old girl! She really needs to be taken off the road and given some love after the abuse i've given her in the last 18k.

I don't believe it! Yet another Meteor where something's gone awry with the speedo cable and the clock mileage is therefore inaccurate...

Both mine had the same story. The first one, the seller had some story about going by the rev counter for a while before finally getting it fixed. Ken kindly fitted a new cable to my 2nd one - the upper cable had snapped just after the previous MOT and the owners had not had it fixed... so it ran for more than half a year with no speedo/mileage counter...

Look at those gold dust Meteor wheeltrims though!! 2 have fallen off though - they must have had really shitty clips on them...

Don't want a BX16 Meteor resto project do you Tim? :lol:
