taken it to £152 without finding the reserve! If i do win it, it will likely become my daily drive while i sort the red one with a 16v engine. Will eventually save me money as the insurance tax on the diesel is just nuts!

Can't really go over £200 though, no job :(

If anyone wants a hand collecting this or viewing it give me a shout asap. I`m going to Manchester this week sometime, very likely tomorrow, to collect some parts for my Frontender.

Cavmad! Parcel shelf clips?

Might Reanimation be interested in this 16v? Assuming Vanny doesn't give it a home of course :)

With a split coolant hose, he may already have broken it. Leave it for the Peugeot boys. There are more than enough good ones to go round which is why they are so cheap.

DJ, please, please please pm when you`re ready and include your tel. no.
I`ve been up to Manchester this afters and I`m going back again around the end of the week sometime.

Back o/t the black 16V looks saveable to me and if one of `us` 9i.e a BX enthusiast) doesn`t bid on it then it`ll probably be Pug`d. Waste of a decent car imho.
Come on Vanny, get your bidding going dawg!

I think Tom probably meant he's probably already broken the engine, rather than broken the car for spares because it had a split hose.

Although stranger things have probably happened.

Personally, 16v's with good bodys are worth more than 16v's with good mechanicals. If someones after a black one, snap it up. They're getting rarer.

seller tells me the hose has split since he stopped using it, only reason he found out was that he came to start it up again and did the usual checks first, hence hasn't got a clue where its coming from. Is going to fill it, warm it up and report back!
