That`s a little belter and if it`s true that it`s not long off it`s original tyres then it must have been extremely well card for.
Diesel BX`s are usually my thing but that`s very tempting.

Forkin hell, that's a cracker... and I was just near Nottingham last week.

Ah Ken, you fancy giving this a once over? One hopes that it's not on its original cambelt...

It wouldn't be my first choice, but it could be arranged.

Why is nearly every 16TRS an auto :x :(

Waste of an engine on that car. It'd be better off being towed by a Fiat 126 Bis.

looks exactly like my one (mine has 39,000 on the clock)
The 16 TRS Auto has been my main car for the last 4 months alongside an XM I'm now in a BX 14 to save the pennies. It has proved very reliable though thirsty-I got the same MPG out of an XM SEi Turbo-which could never be called frugal on fuel. I also have a 16 TRS manual which is slightly better on fuel but is sitting unused at the moment.

thats a lovely car up there and should go cheap. I'm finishing some jobs on mine before putting it up for sale.

I'm hardly a speed demon lol! But they are sluggish (a 19RD sprints faster....and does it ALOT cheaper) because the engine isn't grunty enough to spin those cogs effectively and because of this fact they chew fuel to a degree that would be fair to label as "taking the piss."

20mpg....seriously! My Activa was more frugal than that, and that was a 1400kg 1998cc turbo running 1 bar of boost that notoriously cained fuel!

I reckon an auto on a TD would be pretty much ideal, or maybe the 19 carb, and I hear the N/A diesel works surprisingly well with it. Never driven one, so I'll reserve judgement.

I'm sad, because a mk1 16TRS manual in red would be my ideal BX.

MY 19TGD Auto was surprisngly pokey if driven hard but I still got better mpg from my 16TRS auto.
