bumper piping stripes

Post by Tim2cv »

Hey,

Are these still avaliable? I have a 16v with red stripes but trying to remove them of course they broke. I was being careful too after the warnings id been given! I have 1 bumper (still on the car) left with a stripe intact. If I break this one then what!?

Cheers

Post by tim leech »

Mine all peeled off tool, easy way is to get a razor blade and strip it all of down to the metal, the i primed and painted mine in satin black (19TZD). They look fine and u cant tell the difference. (take them off the car first)

One thing tho my car has 2 tone bumpers, and there peeling, anyone know the colour of the top hald (matt grey colour).

If it`s the same colour as the window surrounds I think it`s called Rover Tempest grey but best to check first!
