That E reg mk2 GTi on ebay a few months back had this style of gauges.

My uncles E reg 16TRS also had this style of clocks (but with the rev counter)

Going back to the original topic I`ve not seen these clocks before but haven`t owned a particulary old BX either. In fact the oldest I`ve owned was probably the white GTi.
Were these also fitted to the Mk1 Bx`s?

Mk1 BX's have PRN dashboards, which include the revolving can speedometer. Along with a linear rev-counter they do look very cool indeed.

With the exception of the GT, which had some rather fetching dials (which I believe are unique)
this might be a signature

Thanks David, I`ll have to try and start collecting the brochures I think. I wonder if the clocks mentioned above could be retro fitted to a later BX to make it look a little different or maybe they`d be best left to someone who owns the model of BX they were originally fitted to? Must be a useful spare for someone?

They'll fit any Mk2 Billy, but in this case, I think they are for a diesel, so, the speedo would only be accurate in a diesel.

They do look cool though!

Careful Billy, you could turn into an anorak at this rate.... broucheres etc......hhmm....

Cheers

If I go to far I`d rather I was put down to be honest. I just like the clocks because they`re different and hadn`t thought of diesels being different as regards the clocks. Do any of `our gang` own a BX at the moment which has them fitted?

Would need to be a 86/87 Mk2 if so, strange I once had a late 86 D plate Mk2 16TRS in hearing aid beige but that had the type of speedo etc that we all recognise.
