Billy - just a little heads-up mate, the new listing for the GTi states that you'll post it free to anywhere in the United Kingdom. Now, I doubt anyone will hold you to that, but you know the number of w*nkers there are on eBay, so I wouldn't put it past someone to bid and then expect you to deliver it free-of-charge to Torquay or something.

Sold by the look of it Billy :) OK not as much as you might've wanted but still £55 more than I paid for it in 2004.

Hopefully it'll be mine (all being well). Happy to be keeping another BX on the road, especially one as clean as this one. It'll be my fourth bx (and the oldest one I've had so far) and my second GTI, so I'm well used to them by now. I started with a GTi, then upgraded to a 16 valver, a temporary excursion with a real deathtrap of a 4x4 then disappeared into the mid 90's blandmobile cars (Xsara, Xantia's, 306's).

Was actually looking for a TD of some sort, but when these come up on offer sacrifices need to be made :). The missus still thinks its a diesel though.... lol. I'll break the news after its bought I think, preferably over the phone [-o< .

I can see the reaction now...

"Hi honey, do you like it?"

8-[

"BTW its a GTi...."

----^

"I'll set the tent up in the garden then..."

titanic

Anyway, glad to be back in the fray again and good to see the same crowd are still around.

Also a quick hi @ Vanny if he's still here...

Matt.

Sometimes what they dont know wont hurt them! I would say nothing and see if she spots it! Every car ive bought when Ive been asked by the old dear how much it was has drastically dropped in price, then I get the desired response in ooh that was good then! :D In seatd of HOW MUCH!
