Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

It was brought out to appease the 2CV'ers who were clamouring for a new model but with all the asthmatic go of the 2CV. It did in fact have the usual engine power but the body and all panels were made from lead and hence it went like it only had 16bhp....lol

I have checked the car and it is a BX 16 TGS. It was purchased in June 1990 and the power steering was added in Feb 1996. The spec Jeremy quoted seems to be correct.

I can't add pictures to this message and I don't have a public gallery. If you would like to see the pictures please email me and I'll send them back to you.

As per my last posting of 20.1.7. Would anybody be interested in purchasing my Mother-in-law's car? She would prefer it to go to an enthusiast. I can supply pictures if you contact me on sandhwilson@ntlworld.com. Many thanks. Heather.

26K - £600. I don't know if that's right - possibly high-ish but it seems a fairly good bet even though it's a 16. It's still a BX after all! Good pics thanks.

Many thanks for that. We are very approachable on the price. We want it to go to an enthusiast.

Thank you so much, Jack, for getting the pictures onto the site for me.

You are right about the one lady owner, Philip.

Just goes to show, we can all still learn something,

WOULD ANY OF YOU BE INTERESTED IN THIS CAR? WE HAVE HELD OFF ADVERTISING IT BECAUSE WE WOULD PREFER AN ENTHUSIAST TO HAVE IT BUT WE SHALL SOON HAVE TO START ADVERTISING IT ELSEWHERE BECAUSE MUM WILL NEED THE GARAGE TO STORE HER SECONDHAND BUGGY IN. DO NOT LET THE PRICE PUT YOU OFF. SHE WOULD BE OPEN TO OFFER.

My sympathies for the lack of serious offers, but I can understand. BX ownership is often accompanied by cash limitations  Hope it finds a good home.... best of luck
