25+ BXs seen in one day....

Yes, more BXs than you've probably seen for a while, but it was in France during a journey of several hours this Tuesday.

Tom was driving us up from the Mayenne to Boulogne, and I BX-spotted (not very effectively) from the passenger seat. As soon as I can make a non-public PC boot up I'll post some pics. Breaks are getting pretty scarce, but there are still some decent Mk 1s here and there.
Back on two wheels and pedal power for the moment.

2005 Grolliffe Tizzydee turbo estate and sundry other BXs and Grace, a CX TRD.
2008 to 2023 - all sorts of stuff, some interesting
2024. TxD 1.9D estate. 'Wheelybin'. Much worse than expected. Scrapped.
2025 Grogan. 1.9 TD Evasion Image Break. LHD.

Much of the reason for this was that David couldn't get the camera to boot up quickly enough as I was in BMW bursting mode. The car ran beautifully on the trip, munching up 997 miles for not a drop of water but returning only 41 MPG due to a combination of strong headwinds and leaden boot syndrome causing long sustained 100+ periods and the occasional excursion to the other side of 120  The rebuild has worked well. There are few BXs that can be driven along a French country road without being able to hear a single rattle!

Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

I drove across the width of France on Saturday. I saw only two BXs. I thought they'd suddenly all died off over there, but this news confirms that they must all simply have been in hiding. :(
