Wheel Bolt Specification...

...to fit the ph2 BX 16v alloy wheels I've got in my boot! Can anyone tell me what it is? I went to fit them today but found the bolts are completely different to the steel wheel bolts. Need to know what spec bolt they are (i.e. seating, length, diameter, etc) so I can pop down the motor factors on Monday morning to try and get a set!

Anybody got any ideas?

Thats cos they're different! They've got flat tipped heads, same as an Activa or a Saxo VTR/VTS.

Also use the same heads as 205 GTi's etc, but the bolts are shorter on those. I thought you knew about em?

Mmm yes, that would be self-evident! :(

No, I didn't know about 'em - I'd just assumed they'd be a bolt-off, bolt-on swapover. Well, I know now!

Cheers Doc, you're a legend!

Just so damn keen to get these alloys on now - I've had them hanging around for two weeks and now that they've got a lovely set of fresh rubber on them, I'm dying to get them out and on the car! :D

I usually just trek down to Silverlake or something and root around in the footwells of the many Saxo VTR's in there :lol:

I have a set to lend you for a few months to get you started mate...I've got some new rubber too but I can't get me wheels off cos the locking bolt thingy sheered on me :evil:
