Huge thanks to Doc and Vanny.

Post by cavmad »

Once again the kindness of members of this forum has amazed me.
Doc came all the way up to help fit an engine into my estate and Vanny, despite being busy, nipped over too to muck in.
I really can`t thank you both enough especially as it was a very long day plus Doc wasn`t feeling 100% and had made a very long trip to get here.
I don`t know if it could be `re-enacted` but if so I`d like to suggest Doc and Vanny for `BX`ers of the week`, if not the month.
Thanks once again lads, much appreciated.

No worries Billy, was great to see you again! and many thanks for the smokes and the hundred weight of beer!!

Would have been better if we'd got it running the same day though....

Did the young scally get it going today??

Oh, and I must point out to all, Billy took stuff off, and re-fitted stuff! He's a technical expert now!!

Cheers

Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

I'd like to extend the thanks to Doc (and his gay mate!) for helping out with the piping on the 16v the following Sunday. He drove straight from Chester to Southampton and then cracked on with repiping the suspension front to back. I'm lost with pipes and flares and such things, so I was lost without him.

He is a true legend among BX's 8)
