Why not? Tidy diesel estate from a dealer should be worth that sort of money with only 107,000 on it.

Hmm. I think a good one should be knocking £500... tops. Plus it's wet in the photos. Be suspicious... be very suspicious.

That dark non metallic blue is a hard colour to keep nice as it shows all the marks, hence why hes chucked a bucket of water over it!

No, it is dry and it is a TXD, one of the better models. I think he'll get his price for that one is good and straight.

I'd be worried about the foamy water leaking from the sills then  But seriously, aTXD estate in good order is a very practical model IMHO (I'm biased). I think the price seems steep, given that it's untaxed and the boot's obviously seen it's share of work, but it's worth what someone's willing to pay... £500 I'd say. £550 with a 3 month warranty. For anything over £600 I'd want 4+ month's tax in the windscreen too.

I've driven it. It's straight, but a little sluggish. Medway Citroen is my second home.

You own a TZD. 1900s only ever had Photon drive which doesn't even match impulse power on a turbo, let alone the warp drive. They are slow but a good one is economical and durable.

My previous but one 1.9 n/a estate was quite a flyer, suppose it depends on the treatment it`s had over it`s life.
I agree with Tom in that for a dealer that`s a reasonable price and for someone who wants a decent, useable diesel estate (which are quite in demand at the moment) it`s at least reasonable. Perhaps to us it`s a fair amount of wonga because we`ve probably all had some seriously cheap BX bargains, especially in recent times, but I think the prices are definately on the up now.

1.9Ds arent bad at all, that 170 thousand mile 19TZD went very well for 72bhp!. Everyones has performance on there mind these days, but when you consdider most modern cars are faster than amost BX (inc 16vs!) who cares!

I took the 16v for a good thrash last night and a rep in a Vectra 1.9CDTI kept up with me! He couldnt get past me but I couldnt pull away, and thats a diesel Vectra lol!

Your quite right Billy BX prices are going up, but when you consider the price of scrap metal per tonne its not surpirsing, and long may it continue.

A decent TZD is £500 ish and a 16v £700 upwards.

Your car is sha**ed then Tim.
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Lol the vectra was 150bhp CDTi with a darn site more torque than my car and he was already rolling. From a standing start I would ahve the legs on him.
