Yep, so long as you got the relay box and the witring that goes with it, it plugs straight into the existing loom. If you get stuck for a supply, let me know, I'm sure I have a spare realy box and loom, but I know I dont have any spare swotches, the last one I have is about to go in dads car, since the switch in it is old and finnicky, and it pi$$es me off!

Sorry to be a grammar nazi, but I thought for a minute there was a hire spec BX... you know, like the Hertz Mustangs!

Must have been there already mate, it's just not possible for it to have worked otherwise.

Still cant help with a switch though I'm afraid, the only one I've found is FUBREd. Sorry.

Surely someone on here must have a spare switch going????

I MIGHT have one, will need to check. Also, without wishing to imply anything untoward, I`ve definately had a BX before that didn`t have one touch windows and the simple addition of a switch transformed them, though it only worked on the driver`s side. Perhaps the wiring was already in place as someone suggests?

You need something to stop the motor when the window reaches the end of its travel. With the normal system you do the job by releasing the switch - but on a one-touch system some device is needed. It could take the form of limit switches - mechanically operated by the mechanism - but as this is only a control box I think it senses the stalling of the motor which will take a much heavier current. This is then processed electronically to cut the relay operating circuit - so shutting the thing off.

Anyone like to design the circuit? No real reason why it needs the special switch - could be like more modern ones that stop the window half way down by a further press on the switch.
