2007 GS/A & Ami Rally

Post by mnde »

2007 CCC GS/A & Ami Rally
Dates: 11-12 August
Venue: Rural Life Centre, Tilford, Farnham, Surrey

http://www.rural-life.org.uk/

This will be the third Rally held at this splendid site, and once again we are inviting the Renault Classic Owners Club along to join the fun!

So if you have a G series, or even if you don't, please come along! There are basic camping facilities available (£2 per night- but no showers I'm afraid), a cafe with indoor and outdoor seating, a narrow gauge steam railway (Sunday), plenty of indoor and outdoor museum exhibits, arboretum/woodland walk etc. A really lovely venue! Not to mention the obligatory convoy drive down to a local pub for lunch on Saturday.

Entry free on Saturday, £6 per car on Sunday. Event ends c. 5pm on Sunday after Raffle Draw!!

BXs would be very welcome, as last year! 8)

Mark. (on behalf of the CCC G-Section Committee)

Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Hi Doc,

Nah this is just an early advertisement; attendees don't need to pre-register or anything. Just note it in your diary and turn up ;) It would be great to see you there!

P.S. There's usually plenty of beer/BBQ-ability on Saturday evening! 8)

Cheers,

Mark.

*EDIT* But anyone who wishes to post to say they are/are not coming, please do - it helps to keep the thread visible :)

I'll be there! The rural life centre is a top venue - I've always enjoyed the G-rallies there.

I'm planning to camp this year too - beer and bbqs all round :)

Is the camping there of the "tent, coz I'm well-'ard" only variety, or are soft nancy caravans allowed too?

I'm hoping to have the CX sorted for sometime around then. With a towbar, and a caravan on tow.
this might be a signature
