Another one back on the road!
Another one back on the road!
Hi All
Well I'm pleased to announce that my TZD turbo is back up and running after its extended resting period. Have sorted the suspension (rear height corrector, some suspect f-r pipes), re-hung the rear exhaust, sorted most of the elctrics track rod ends, discs, pads full service etc. Just a few more small jobs to do now.
It's good to be back in it and I'm grinning like a cheshire cat

Yes I've welded the rear support back on and subsequent poking of the area revealed some boot floor rust beginning, some of which I have cut out and plated last weekend until I ran out of welding wireDLM wrote:Very nice - black's one of many good colours, though getting rarer nowadays.
Hope you've been keeping an eye out on the rear for corrosion, though I'd have thought re-hanging the rear exhaust will have given a good tinworm's-eye view.
Thanks for all the kind words, guys

Very tidy, I like that.
But Tim mate, you need to try harder to be more anal here.....you may have noticed the badges were on the wrong way, but you didn't note that the Citroen one is from a Mk1 BX

It's a qaulity Austin A35! Fine british affair, ya know, full of holes and knackered, just like Rab C Nesbitt!!stuart_hedges wrote:What's that behind it, Doc? Looks a bit like a Renault 4, but I don't think it is.
