Just picked up my new AX and it has a crap folding-type jack. Does anyone have a spare BX one, the expanding tower type? AFAIK the jacking points are the same. I think the BX jack is a good bit of design, would quite like one for this car too...
Thanks mate, I have a PM to chase up but if it doesn't work out I will take a trip over to you. How are those wheels working out? Did you decide to paint them up? I wished I'd kept them after the rear arms started to go on the 16v and the rears went bald in about a month
After much umming and ahhhing I left them as standard in the end.And very nice they go with the Burgundy paintwork too.Now I've got my camera sorted,I'll post some pictures
i've got a few here if you can collect (exam time so no chance of going anywhere), or if you can wait till mid may then you can visit the cave of parts and get some of them outta my sight!

Indeed, I think the standard wrench is crap for actual wheelnuts but it's just the job for winding the jack up because it's dead quick! I think Mr Arctic is kindly going to sort me with one of those too, though. Legend
