Yeah, but wrong Forum I am tempted by the dark side too Ken (and no, I don't mean ZX, Xantia, Xsara...)... An XM estate - what's the most desirable year/spec?ken newbold wrote:Wetherby 2007.
Celebrating 17 years of the XM, So I thought I'd better make the effort.

2.1TD auto with EVERYTHING!
A late S1 for me, the S2's didn't have the uber cool turbo gauge in the rev counter, no fun! and the sharper lines of the dashboard just look better than the blurred edges of the S2 IMO

Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!
Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

I'll agree with the Mk1 v Mk2 dashboard and I would like an auto, however the autobox is seeing off most XM's right now.docchevron1472 wrote:2.1TD auto with EVERYTHING!

The most sought after ones are the series 2, 2.1td manual estates.

My plans are changing this weekend, it was going to be a clan gathering under canvas but a raindrop was sighted , so I might get to Wetherby after all, in the Hooligan with my tent, keep your eyes peeled on Saturday chaps, I will wear a silly hat to ease recognition

I don't think I'll be able to make it which is a shame as I'd like to catch up with Dean and Ken (amongst others) again. Holiday is looming too and I have things coming through the post I need to hide that I need to hide from Mrs Cavmad as I don't think she'll appreciate our spending money going on Opel Manta alloys!!!
