Good news everybody...

Post by capri »

Well, I've had two weeks of soul searching and trying to decide whether I could really justify keeping the TZD, a car which needs some money spending on it if I'm to take it away to France with me. But since I got it back on the road last Friday, she's won me over once again, the little rascal. So now I'm 99% certain that I will be keeping her and taking her to the South of France with me after all. This is subject to no more serious breakdowns in the next six weeks, of course - if she's going to be temperamental, the deal's off - but as things stand now, I'm going to keep her, because she is such good fun to pootle around in. So, for the time being at least, her future is safe with me.

In recognition of that fact, I've this morning purchased some new-style GB plates which will both smarten up the outside and allow me to go abroad legally without having to slap a great big white sticker on the tailgate. I'll be giving her a wash and sprucing up the bodywork later on today, and over the course of the next week should get some of the minor teething troubles sorted.

And tomorrow we will host a fix your BX day.....with a total of two cars

There, both our cars will become unusable due to breaking something we never meant to.

Mine isn't!

Good on ya chap!
Theres alot to be said for better the devil you know ya know!

Lets face it, you could buy something much younger that could prove to be more unreliable, anything mechanical is liable to break at some point!
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...
