In all honesty - if Citroen can not supply them, you are better off looking round a breakers yard. Place a post on the for sale / wanted section as somone may have one they are breaking.

Can't you use a thin bolt of the right diameter and length? Nice if you can get the hinges to run on the unthreaded shank - spacing with washers if necessary.

My Cars: 90s/00s - lots of BX hatches/estates 16/19i/17td/19d
2020s - A shinier red TZD estate has replaced scruffy 19TXD "Red Shed".

Just a thought - might be worth saying if it's an estate or hatch as I suspect the hinges/pins may differ.
Back on two wheels and pedal power for the moment.

How hard is it to change a tailgate btw? Just wondering as my 16TGS has a rear aerofoil spoiler (TZD etc) which has been hand sprayed and to be honest ive never liked them, but as the tailgates been drilled it would look a mess without it!

It's not a very difficult job, but is easier with 2 people as they are heavy and arkward.
