I'm watching that. Sad, I know, but I'm building up a small collection of sales literature.

That would be nice for David R I reckon
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Might be nice to have that with the digit. I've seen it on the net (PDF'd) somewhere before now in german. I do wonder if my french is good enough to start making eBay purchases though...

David, if you want it it's all yours. I've got fluent French so I'll happily bid on it for you and pass it on at the National if you like? Just let me know your ceiling.

<sad git>
I'll definitely want a brochure for it :oops:
</sad git>

When things calm down at work a bit I'll scan my collection and make them available. I don't have much.... yet........

I do love period advertising though. Advertising says so much more about the culture/period that it's from than the actual product.

My favourite is the one that my MGB-owning friend has proudly hanging in his hall - "MGB: your mother wouldn't like it." Hm. Tamest sports car ever.... that tagline could work attached to a Capri 3.0, but any MGB??

OK stu I will look one out for you and bring it to the national on the proviso you bring the matching car!

I think the thing is about the MGB was not that it went so quick ( except for the V 8 ) but the sort of cads that were meant to drive them - sort of dissapated Leslie Philips who wouldn't think twice about giving a girl more shandy than was good for her, then drive to a secluded spot, pull up the roof and er.. I don't want to think about it.
One of my girlfriends mothers didn't like the fact that I drove a Bedford Chevanne. Not because it fell in the MG bracket but she hated it parked outside her house and thought her daughter could do better.. more space than in an MG though 8)
