Newbie checks in....

Post by sausage »

Hi Everybody,

Just thought I'd better introduce myself and my 77k mile BX19 Meteor "Brenda". I've owned her for a few years now and am ashamed to say that I've only recently been showing her a bit of TLC. She's just repayed that TLC by sailing through here MOT. Just realised that I've not got a picture of her at the moment (hmm, should have thought about that before posting!).

Anyway, I've been lurking here for some time and using the excellent advice in the 'changing the timing belt' thread have done just that. Fairly painless apart from the loss of knuckle skin  No doubt I'll be along shortly asking questions aplenty.

Thanks for the welcome guys :D

From what I saw on Sleepy's profile he lives less than a mile from me! I'm also based near Bolton at w/ends as that's where the g/f lives so I must be local to other boardies too?

Aye, welcome mate, I've been to Lincoln, full of churches...

Although I think I'm still an honory northern member, so welcome from the south, from an honory northener!
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...
