Red BX "workhorse" in Brum today

Post by mountainmanUK »

I doubt if it was a member, but I spotted a red estate (diesel?) at lunchtime today, going through the lights at the top of Merry Hill, Quarry Bank, Birmingham.
Looks in need of some TLC and a few hours with Tim and his "shining kit".....but I guess it would qualify as another "old workhorse". At least it was running, and seemed to pull away nice 'n smooth.
btw...Reg No. was something like H32 TAA

Begining to look grim huh Tim!!??

You really will have to throw those trims in the skip and fot Speedlines, for they are the choice of the champion!
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Im cant afford to throw money at the TGS doc, the tyres on it are all michelin energys with plenty of life left and as it doesnt have power steering it would just make it heavier fitting 195s,. I do have a set of speedlines which stuart is babysitting for me but the tyres are shot so that would be another £100 to reshoe them so correct spec trims it is for now.
