Phillip...can't bet to the show but I've copied off the flyer and will display it on GRX tomorrow.

Nice one.

Also Monica (my TXD) will now definitely be there, seeing as I now have a brand new MOT in my grubby little hands!

Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

No pressure then :D ! No, this is exactly what I needed otherwise I would have never got the thing done! Anyone know of anywhere that steam cleans engines in the Midlands? I need to find the oil leak this weekend. Its no good as it is. It started to get stupidly leaky towards the end. Im more worried about this that fixing the accident damage. Ive replace three main oil seals. Both crankshaft ones and the right camshaft one. I cant remember why the distributor side never got done, but its really coming out quickly around this area, so its either that oil seal, the rocker cover seal, or, worse, the head gasket. Cant see what else it could be. The distributor is certainly covered in oil.

I do mine myself, just got alot of engine cleaner and use the local jetwash, take some WD 40 and some dry paper with you if it doesnt start!

I know you are going to be sceptical but are you sure it's not the dipstick? I had this problem by that area and it is because of a progressive break up of the "stopper" part of the dipstick orange handle allowing the dipstick tube to act as a breather. New dipstick £4-70 from GSF - Problem Sorted! :D
