Meteor Wheel Trim Pictures

Post by sausage »

Anybody got a picture of a 19D Meteor with original wheel trims? I'm getting fed up with the no wheel trim 'Mad Max Chic' look that I'm currently sporting and can't remember what the originals looked like.

Not in a position to buy any at the mo but wanted to at least have an idea what they looked like ready for when I do try to get some.

They could be like these TXD ones, if so there is a full set in my local scrappies. No doubt are very own wheel trim specialist will be along to tell us shortly

Ooh, interesting!

Would an estate's drivers door seal be the same as the hatch's? Citroen want £99+vat for a new one

 What's a late estate in apparently good nick doing in the scrappy? :(

Surely one that should be rescued? :? Tim :?:

Your quite right Ken, TXD and Meteor trims are the same sort.

It's a bit of a long story :? but it's on the forum somewhere. Twas my old car  Having said that Mulley is now riding about on it's front struts and StGilles is riding on one of it's rear cylinders and Cavmad has one of it's rear lights.
They think it's all over, it is now!

Hi Ken,

Must have missed the story but clearly if it was your car then if it could have been saved I'm sure it would have been. 8) :D

Thought of Tim as a rescuer but obviously not viable now I know this part of the ending.

The breakers yard wanted £200 or something like that with no T&T, where as the paid the guy who scrapped it alot lot less!

Can't blame them for that, they're in business to make money and trust me most scrappies would have de-polluted it and sent it straight to the crusher. At least people have had the chance to get parts off it.
