It takes more than "a few months" to work up that sort of moss after being "looked after by a competant enthusiast" ....

It always amazes me that some people can't even be bothered to get a bucket of soapy water and a sponge out for 20 minutes, before taking their Fleabay pics!!
If that's worth £350 then my Monica must now warrant an £800 price-tag, with full MOT!!!!
Hmmmmm............

Nice.

It Must Take Ages To Write Out An Entire Ebay Advert If You Needlessly Put A Capital Letter At The Beginning Of Each Word. I Can't For The Life Of Me Work Out Why You Would Do Such A Thing.

But then if he wants £295 for that, he's obviously got more pressing (personal) issues to be dealing with.

Ken, thats the optional "White moss" colour :) I find that washing the car with weedkiller helps to control it.

He's had it valued at £295 then has he? When was that exactly and by who? Two years ago before it was left to form it's very own wild life sanctuary or last week by the bloke in the pub after twenty too many vodkas and a copy of Parker's Guide?

Billy!

Way OT...but what do you know about Fiat X1/9s??
I'm thinking about one of the wee beasties, to do as a Summer Project!
The one I have in mind has a little T&T (to drive home!), but do you know of any hidden "nasties" to be aware of?

Cheers matey!

Could be wrong here Dave but I think David Rutherford knows a bit about X1/9s. I would imagine the biggest problem with them will be the dreaded tin worm but if you can get a good one, or one that's easy to restore, they're supposed to be a hoot to drive.
