not holding my breath for newer drivers seat, see my other post,

but can salvage my seat mechanism by replacing long spindle in photo



its the metal piece, you can access it quite easily,

unlatch seat bottom, undo two rear, two on either side screws, that hold the plastic covers on, pull out split pin, the plastic roller comes off and you pull spindle out,

the teeth on the end of mine have splintered, and the back keeps collapsing

can anyone help
