Whenever I pay out for a bill I tell myself that it's cheaper than the deprecipation on a new car, and I won't get any more pleasure driving round in a brand new car. Less pleasure probably as I would have nothing to tinker with :)
I haven't added up what I have spent; I know I could have spent less but as I am running it on the basis of long term ownership I haven't skimped on costs.

Active again today, first time this year.

Working on Tim's TZD when Mark (mnde) called with his ebay bargain, there are some good bargains still to be had on ebay.

Then we had another visitor in the form of " The Buxton Bomber" this is Malcolm Lockwoods H reg 19TGD estate with 390,000 on the clock.

No pics I'm affraid too busy

No problem Dean.

You'll have to make arrangements and I'll get a bearing kit.

I've been off work for the last 3 weeks(yipee) so until I go back tomorrow,I don't know what shift pattern I'll be working.I'll let you know when I know. There's also a small issue about the wiring on my radio to sort out.I also think that the rear spheres may be a bit firm and could be ready for replacement. Are you sure you want me to come up there cos with your expertise, you may be able to spot a few other jobs that want doing? :o

I'd reserve judgement on the spheres untill the arm bearings are sorted out. Theres also a couple of secondhand ones here FOC.

Thanks to Ken, my BX now has good front spheres, a new air filter and a working speedo :D \:D/ Clutch is better and reverse is easier to select after being adjusted. :)

Dean, I called in at Barnsley Halfords on the way back for a spare bulb kit and a new wiper blade!!

I'm going to enjoy my journey back south tomorrow that much more!

Mark.
