Funny that Fearny...

my TGD auto is due to hit the road. Now taxed. It's still the same. Beautiful faded red and only been sat in a field for 2 years, not 3!! :D

STILL WANTED!!!!

I found a BX TXD auto in the car park at work but having found the owner who'd had it from new he didnt want to sell at any price.

SO, i'm still after a BX diesel auto. I could quite easily be talked into a ZX diesel auto but again, it must be in excellent condition.

Unfortunately my better half (and she definately is my BETTER half) has a poorly knee that's fine under normal conditions but quickly gives up with repeated clutch action so an auto is essential. She's a town driver too which makes life worse.

She loves the BX but doesnt have the deep pockets to quench its thirst (22mpg) so another petrol is out of the question.

get in the queue :( ...

I had a ZX estate diesel auto which is just about the best combo you could get I went all the way to Nottingham to pick it up. Lovely car but I had to fight people off when I put it up for sale. Lots of people with back/ knee problems preventing them from driving manuals all chasing the very few diesel autos that were made.

good luck mate in finding one but expect to pay close to a grand for the very best...

Even Xantia diesel autos are very expensive..this is one Xantia worth getting as the 1.9 is an engine we all know and te autobox ain't bad. Most have been cared and loved by older owners..Have a look at those two as they are more numerous..

You know it makes total sense. XM's are the choice of champions!

An XM isn't a barge Tim.
If Sue really struggles to park it, then just stick some RSJ's front and back, then she can make her own parking spaces!

I'm appalled at the sexism on here. There's nothing to say women can't drive XMs, or any other car come to that. Once they've finished the dishes of course

Yeah that's right, I used to see a woman driving an XM estate everyday, just 100 yards from where I live.

Mind you I haven't seen it for a while :? probably written it off
