After establishing (with help from some of you guys) that it was the sensor which was malfunctioning, a good clean of it and its (corroded) contacts restored it to life - until today, when the symptoms have returned - permanently.
So, anybody got a homeless and lonely tacho sensor they'd like to flog me, please?
Can swap for parts from my Mk1 1.9GT ........
