the tel code seems to be in the Henley on thames" area, more local to me than i thought!

just spoke to the chap, he's near Henley on thames,and the car is in excellent rust free condition! he has some 4 BX's! including an A reg BX! but in a poor state, so im going over sunday to have a look!

i went over today to see this BX,overal its a very nice BX,27,000 miles, No Rust anywere to be seen! car starts and drives without fault,engine sounds very nice,

under the car looks in great shape too, even the pipework looks good!
the bodywork looks very good, there's the odd scuff here and there, give it a danm good clean up,you're have one of the best original MK1 BX's in the country!!
Last taxed in 2002,but has been driven around his property,will sell as if,or will put an MOT on her (far as i can tell, it just needs a new set of tryes,spheres ok,but could do with a re charge soon)
So come on you lot, this car needs a new loving home!

the A reg BX, was in gold, but sadly is too far gone to be resurected,(if i say that,it must be bad!!)
He also has several other BX's lying around, so if you need parts,could be worth asking (ie 16trs Auto box and engine)

Not that I can afford it but did he mention a price for the low mileage Mk1? Also maybe the spare 1.6 engine could be of some use to Tim if it has a manifold?

Thats a point Billy, hell of a long way to go to fetch one! Am off collecting bits from wrexham on Sunday so see if I can get one.
